About us…
Firebird Academy offers classical ballet classes with a RAD syllabus (Royal Academy of Dance). We are located in Coulsdon (SE Greater London UK), and serve nearby Purley, Croydon, Banstead, Chipstead, Wallington, Chaldon, Kenley, Sutton, Epsom, and Reigate.
We provide training to ages 3 and up, inspiring creativity and artistry in the next generation of ballet dancers.
Our Passion
Here our students have a home to achieve their full potential in a fun and imaginatively engaging environment.
A wealth of character-building skills resides in our dancers. Among these gifts are tenacity, resilience, and a strive for excellence, allowing students to achieve confidence, discipline, grace, coordination, rhythm, creativity, and a joy in athletic fulfillment.
These skills last a lifetime. That is the magic of dance.
Our Teaching
Alongside the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, we teach important components of the ISTD syllabus, choreography, and intercontinental free work components. Students have performance opportunities as well as the option of participating in the RAD examination experience.
Whether our students continue with their vocational training and a career in dance, or move on to other endeavors, they will carry with them the skills needed to thrive. As they develop a lifelong joy of ballet they acquire techniques enabling them to achieve their personal goals and live their lives to the fullest.

Just a quick email to say how wonderful the whole show was last night. The performers were brilliant, but all of the choreography and the whole show was fantastic, you did so well!
We were SO proud to watch our daughter’s first ever ballet show, and can’t wait for many more. Thank you for the opportunity!

Firebird Academy of Ballet is a wonderful ballet school. Miss Cassie is a fantastic teacher who strives to help her students realise their full potential in ballet.
Miss Cassie offers her pupils many opportunities to perform and works hard for each RAD grading. My daughter started ballet when she was 3 and still very much loves it at 10. A big thank you to Miss Cassie for establishing a wonderful ballet school and for the huge effort she puts into helping the children reach a high standard of ballet.
